About

Leadership often comes with certain benefits. Greater influence, more power, higher pay, a corner office and maybe even a reserved parking space! Yet leadership also comes with an awesome responsibility. A DUTY to think and act like a leader. A duty to yourself, to your followers, to your organization and to your mission.

DUTY FIRST LEADERSHIP walks you through the duties that leaders have with respect to the four main pillars of leadership. Leaders, Followers, Culture and Mission.

Using leadership lessons learned from careers in the US Navy and American Law Enforcement, Jesse Davidson and Greg Veitch will teach you how to think and act like a leader that puts DUTY FIRST. From leading by example, to developing a culture of excellence, Jesse and Greg show you how leadership lessons from a nuclear-powered fast attack submarine and police operations can help you become a better leader and improve your organization from the inside out.

Topics include:

  • Collision on the USS Greeneville
  • Your Ideal Leader
  • Core Values and Leadership
  • Followers: Individuals, not numbers
  • Culture: What it is and why it matters
  • Standards and Red Flags
  • Mission alignment: Personal and organizational
